The Nanner League

It’s been a tough start to the campaign for Wolves. Not only have we not had a result through the first 4 games, but we’ve had to stand by and watch Nanner League action while just waiting for our opportunity to join the fun. Some Nanner teams have already played 3 games and Wolves are still a month away from any Nanner action.

While we sat by and watched empty peel after empty peel, I wrote a song to channel my sadness as we await our first Nanner action. I hope you all enjoy!

Waiting on the League to Start

Me and all my Wolves
We’re geared up and ready to go
But we’re still waiting in the wings
For our fixtures to be known

Now we see games with Liverpool
And Sunderland’s next in line
But it feels like every kickoff
Is just refusing to arrive

Waiting for our presence to be known

We see supporters in the stands
Kits are out and proud
But we’re pacing on the sidelines
Until they let the games go down
