Eulogy for Ozzy Osbourne – A Nanner Villan Forever

Contributing Writer: Burge Khalifa

Good evening, friends, family, and fellow Nanner Villans.

We gather today not just to mourn the loss of a legend, but to celebrate the life of one of our own — the great and irreplaceable Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne.

Ozzy wasn’t just a rock god, a cultural icon, or a voice that could rattle the heavens and stir your soul. To us, he was family. A proud and passionate Nanner Villan. Week in and week out, Ozzy stood with us — through the agony of stoppage-time heartbreak, through the euphoria of last-minute screamers, and yes, even through those cold, rainy nights at Villa Park where hope seemed lost… but never to Ozzy.

Ozzy believed in this club with the same ferocity he brought to the stage. He saw our potential, our fire, and our flair long before the rest of the world caught on. He’d say, “These boys are gonna shock the world. Mark my words.” And mark them we did — sometimes in eyeliner, sometimes in Guinness, always in claret and blue.

But now, our anthem sounds a little softer. The Holte End feels a little quieter. And the world is just a little darker without our Ozzy.

Still — we are Villans. And Villans don’t crumble. We rise.

Ozzy wouldn’t want silence. He wouldn’t want sorrow. He’d want volume — deafening, thunderous, unapologetic support. He’d want chants so loud they echo into the afterlife. And most of all, he’d want us to win.

So we will. We’ll fight harder. Cheer louder. And rally around this devastating loss the only way we know how — together. United. Relentless.

This season, we play with purpose. We play with passion. And we play for Ozzy.

So raise your scarves. Bang your drums. Sing until your throat’s raw. Because every cross, every tackle, every goal — it’s for him now.

Let’s win one for Ozzy.

Rest in peace, our Prince of Darkness.

You may have left the pitch — but you’ll never leave our hearts.

Up the Villa.
